Droopy the Snoring Dog switch adapted toy

We are adding a new switch adapted toy to the range of award winning Talking, Singing and Dancing Plush toys available on the special-needs-toys website.Image of Droopy the Snoring Dog switch adapted toy

Droopy is his name and he has long floppy ears and whiskers that flap as he snores. His tail wags and his body expands and contracts as he breathes.

As soon as we have a video of him we’ll update the website again.

Take a look at the larger pictures of Droopy on the website.

Good Toy Guide – Dream-Toys rated Overall Winner

We had some fantastic news earlier this week; our Dream-Toys have been awarded “Overall Winner” status in the “Inclusive Play” section of the 2009 Good Toy Guide.

The Good Toy Guide is published every year by the National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries (NATLL) and will be available in October as a download from their website.

In the meantime this is the certificate we received.

ACE Centre-North Network Day

On July 3rd ACE Centre North organised one of their regular network days for professionals and carers interested in the use of Assistive Technology (AT) and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC). For the forty people that attended it was an opportunity to keep up-to-date with the latest developments.

I had the opportunity to participate and presented an overview of the various fun and technical products we produce as well as some of our newer ideas we wanted to get some feedback on.

The presentation I used can be downloaded from Fileden click on this link to open for a look.
